Bluebrook Academy Sick Policy

At Bluebrook Academy, the health and safety of our children, families, and staff is our top priority. To maintain a clean, healthy, and nurturing environment, we have a strict policy regarding illness and attendance.

When Children Must Stay Home

  • Children showing any signs of illness such as fever, cough, runny nose, sneezing, red eyes, or other visible symptoms must remain at home.

  • If symptoms appear while at school, parents will be contacted immediately for pickup.

  • Children who require medication to manage symptoms throughout the day should also remain at home until fully well.

Protecting Our Bluebrook Family

  • Bluebrook Academy reserves the right to turn away any child displaying visible signs of illness at drop-off or during the day.

  • This measure ensures the safety of all children and staff, protecting our school community from the spread of sickness.

  • We kindly ask parents to keep their little ones at home when they are unwell, even if symptoms seem mild.

Why This Matters

This policy helps us maintain a safe and healthy space where all children can thrive. By keeping sick children at home, we reduce the spread of germs and ensure that our classrooms remain comfortable and secure for everyone. 💙
